Biography
Thea Djordjadze was born in 1971 in Tbilisi. Currently, she lives and works in Berlin (Germany). She graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Art in 1993. Then she continues her study in Gerrit Rietveld Academie. In 1999-2003 she is a member of Dusseldorf artists group hobby POP Museum. Thea Djordjadze is a multimedia visual artist, she is working in different mediums, such as: sculpture, installation, painting, photography and video. She has participating in different important international exhibitions and projects. She has worked with Rosemarie Trockel in the framework of Venice Biennial in 2003. Thea participated in Lyon Biennial in 2007. In 2016 Thea Djordjadze had a large-scale exhibition in Seccesion Vienna. Artist is represented by the galleries: Monika Spruth Philomene Magers in London and Berlin, Micky Schubert in Berlin, Kaufmann Repeto in Milan, Sprüth Magers in Berlin and etc.
