Biography

Ia Calista Mchedlishvili was born in 1964 in Tbilisi, Georgia. At present, she lives and works in USA and Georgia. Ia graduated from psychology faculty of Tbilisi State University. She also got the academic minor in Applied and Fine Arts at TSU. Ia art works consist of water-colors, mixed media paintings, photography, video art and etching on glass. Ia Calista’s recent works are expressionist water-color portrait series. The artist participates in different group exhibitions.
