Biography
Shalva Khakhanashvili (Shalvak) was born in Gori (Georgia), in 1964. He studied art history at Tbilisi State University. Shalva left Georgia in 1995 and he currently live and works in Paris, France. As a visual artist, he works on multimedia photography. He also is an independent curator for contemporary arts. Shalva arranges exhibitions both in Georgia and abroad, thus he facilitates the popularization and integration of Georgian art into the European art scene. He has participated in personal & group shows in Tbilisi, Baku, Berlin, Bonn, Brussels, Cannakale, Cologne, Chisinau, Chelyabinsk, Istanbul, Moscow, Sofia, Tashkent, Samarkand, Strasbourg, Thessaloniki, Rethymnon, London, Nantes, Vilnius & Paris.
